Body found in Los Gatos lake
LOS GATOS, Calif. (KTVU) - A man's body was pulled from Lake Vasona on Monday afternoon.
Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police responded to a 911 call of a man in distress at the lake at 12:35 p.m. When first responders arrived on scene, witnesses said that the man had not re-surfaced from the lake.
At about 1:25 p.m. the Santa Clara County Sheriff's dive team recovered the body of a 57-year-old Los Gatos man. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Santa Clara County Fire Department, emergency crews responded to a report of a witness who saw someone go into the water and not resurface.
The man's identity has not been released.
