Person dies in San Jose fire outside sandwich shop

One person was found dead at the scene of a fire at a single-story business on Senter Road in San Jose.

SAN JOSE, Calif. - One person is dead after an early morning Wednesday fire in San Jose.

Firefighters responded to a strip mall at 2597 Senter Road just before 6 a.m.

They found one person dead outside a sandwich shop. The body was found in a fenced-off area.

Firefighters say it appears the fire may have started in a Dumpster, then spread to the building.
