Early morning fire kills one in Presidio Heights, injures 2 others
SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - An early Monday morning fire in Presidio Heights killed one person and injured a second occupant and a firefighter.
The fire was reported just before 1 a.m. at a multi-story home on Clary Street originating in the main
living area on the second floor, the deputy chief said.
17-year-old killed in Vacaville, suspect detained
Fire crews knew people were inside and they tried to rescue them, but sadly they could not reach one victim, according to Division Chief Lorri Kalos.
Kalos said it always upsets crews that a life was lost, especially on Christmas Eve.
Man fatally shot in his car in India Basin neighborhood
A firefighter was injured while breaking down a door but is expected to recover quickly.
The second victim suffered severe burns and was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
One killed in downtown shooting
The victims have not been identified as fire crews attempt to contact family members.
Separately, police investigated a fatal shooting in the India Basin neighborhood reported about the same time.
