Menlo Park man arrested at SFO on child pornography charges
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (KTVU) - A 47-year-old Menlo Park man has been arrested on child pornography charges, after investigators received a tip from the suspect's wife, San Mateo County sheriff's officials said on Tuesday.
Matthew Coda was arrested as he got off a plane at San Francisco International Airport on Monday night.
Last September, Coda's wife contacted sheriff's officials, saying she believed her husband may be in possession of child pornography, detectives said.
In the course of their investigation, deputies found more than 3,000 images of child pornography on the suspect's computer, according to the sheriff's office.
Coda has been booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City.
