Salinas police are asking for the public's help in identifying a pair of suspects who passed off six bad checks at several CVS Pharmacy locations in the city in February.

According to police, a man and woman paid for separate transactions with a total of six traveler's checks at the CVS locations on Feb. 11. Police said CVS management realized the checks were fraudulent only after the purchases were complete.

Police are asking anyone who may recognize the suspects to contact Detective Byron Gansen at (831) 758-7137 or byrong@ci.salinas.ca.us. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call (831) 775-4222.
