San Jose teacher arrested for lewd acts with minor

San Jose Police have arrested a middle school music teacher, accused of having sex with one of his students.

34-year-old Samuel Neipp was arrested Friday on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under 14 years of age, oral copulation, possession of child pornography and extortion and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail, according to police.

He teaches at Dartmouth Middle School in San Jose and is an assistant Band Director at Branham High School.

Investigators say he had a three year long sexual relationship with one of his middle school students, who was 13 when the alleged relationship began.

Niepp also threatened to post nude photos of the victim, police said.
