Two die in Solano County plane crash
Two people died in a plane crash in Rio Vista. June 8, 2023
RIO VISTA, Calif. - A single-engine plane crashed in Solano County Thursday, killing the two people on board, according to the FAA and police.
A spokesperson from the FAA said the Steen Skybolt crashed near the Rio Vista Municipal Airport in California around 11:45 a.m.
Rio Vista police confirmed that the two people aboard died.
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate what occurred.
Rio Vista is a city located in the eastern end of Solano County in the Sacramento River Delta region of Northern California.
