Woman shot by man, injured near SF State campus; suspect flees
SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - A woman in her 20s suffered a gunshot wound Monday night in San Francisco, according to police.
Police responded to a residence at the unit block of Serrano Drive near San Francisco State University at 7:11 p.m.
When they arrived, they said they found the female victim with a wound to her upper torso. She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injury, police Sgt. Michael Andraychak said.
The suspect, described as a male in his 20s, fled the scene. Police said the two people involved are known to one another. The suspect is at large. SFPD is investigating the incident.
