Deadly crash in San Ramon
One person died in San Ramon after running out into traffic.
SAN RAMON, Calif. - One person was killed early Wednesday in San Ramon after running into oncoming highway traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol.
People reported seeing the person run onto southbound Interstate Highway 680 near Bollinger Canyon Road about 4 a.m., the CHP said.
A car ended up striking that person, who was pronounced dead.
No other details were provided.
At least two lanes of southbound traffic were closed for the investigation.
