SAN MATEO, Calif. - Two dozen cars suffered flat tires early Wednesday morning when a 100-pound metal bar left in the road damaged their commutes on the San Mateo Bridge.
The bar fell off a truck about 4:40 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported.
By 5:30 a.m., the bar had been removed but several tow trucks had been called.
