Authorities have made arrests in Oakland after two gun stores were burglarized in the Sacramento area early Wednesday morning.

Law enforcement agencies converged at an east Oakland neighborhood located at 68th Avenue and MacArthur Blvd. around 9 a.m. where they made numerous arrests in the case.

Authorities had located the suspect's Honda CRV at 68th Avenue. It's unclear if they pulled the vehicle over or if the vehicle was parked.

Oakland police are combing the SUV for evidence. Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives agents and CHP officers are also at the scene.

Surveillance video from the gun store in Rocklin showed the black CRV crashing through the door of a business. Four men got out of the car and entered the store.

The CHP told KTVU the vehicle was registered in Oakland.

The owner of the store believes only one gun was taken from his store.

Thieves also struck another gun store in Folsom, about an hour earlier. The owner of that store says about 15 guns were stolen.

Police are looking into the possibility that the two burglaries are connected.
