Two people shot in East Oakland

Authorities are investigating a double shooting in East Oakland Wednesday afternoon.

OAKLAND, Calif. - Oakland Police Department responded to the scene of a shooting Wednesday afternoon in East Oakland. Two people were located with gunshot wounds. 

Police said they arrived at the scene of 2900 Brookdale Avenue just before 4 p.m. 

The victims are said to be in stable condition. 

Police said this is an active scene and had no further details to share. 

Skyfox flew above the scene where there was a large police presence.
