3.0 magnitude earthquake strikes in Monterey County

A magnitude 3.0 earthquake struck in Monterey County on Wednesday night. 

The U.S. Geological Survey measured the temblor at 9:10 p.m. in the unincorporated community of Aromas. 

There have been no initial reports of damage. 

The earthquake could be felt in parts of Salinas, according to the USGS' ‘Did You Feel It?’ map. The quake was measured at a depth of more than 4 miles.
