3 earthquakes strike near Oakland Zoo
OAKLAND, Calif. - A series of three earthquakes jolted the Bay Area Saturday morning.
According to the US Geological Survey, the first 3.0 magnitude quake hit at 9:24 a.m. The epicenter was near the Oakland Zoo in Knowland Park.
The following two earthquakes both measured at 3.2 magnitude each. They hit back-to-back just past 9:40 a.m.
No damage or injuries have been reported.

In Southern California, Riverside County residents got a jolt, too.
A preliminary 4.2-magnitude earthquake was reported Friday evening near northwest of Palomar Observatory.
