Car crashes seen in Bay Area over weekend

One crash claimed the lives of three people in Fremont early Sunday morning. Additionally, five people were injured when their car crashed into a luxury watch store in San Francisco. And in Santa Cruz, roads reopened after a deadly crash.

At least three people are dead after a car crashed into a concrete barrier in Fremont, officials said.

The three victims were all in the same car when it collided with the barrier shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday northbound on Interstate 880 at the Warren Avenue crossing.

It's unclear if the victims died at the scene. Officials did not identify or describe the victims.

The crash is under investigation.
