SAN MATEO, Calif. - All eastbound lanes of the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge have opened after a multiple-vehicle crash this afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. Drivers should expect residual delays.
The crash was reported at 2:53 p.m. and at least one person had complaints of pain as a result, but the injuries aren't considered major, CHP Officer James Evans said.
Two eastbound lanes reopened at around 4:15 p.m. but traffic was backed up for miles into Foster City.
