American badger found between two buildings in Palo Alto

PALO ALTO, Calif. (KTVU) - An unexpected visitor in Palo Alto found himself in a tight situation on Saturday. 

Animal control officers responded to a report of an animal stuck between two buildings. 

When officers arrived they found an American badger caught in a narrow space between the buildings and the animal didn't look too happy. 

Palo Alto Animal Control said it didn't appear that the badger was stuck he just needed a little push. 

It took officers about an hour to coax the animal out of the cramped spot. 

He wasn't injured or sick, so he was released into a more suitable environment.
