Oakland boxer Andre Ward will be boxing at Oracle Arena Saturday night after an almost two-year break from the sport.

This is Ward's 30th career fight, and is undefeated in his last 29.

If he defeats Alexander Brand of Colombia, he will move on to face Sergey Kovalev in November. Kovalev is known as the "Krusher" and is the Russian light heavyweight champion. That match-up would be the first pay-per-view fight of Ward's career.

When asked about how he feels about competing at home, Ward says, ""This is a dream of mine. I used to drive down 880 coming to King's Boxing Gym, passing the Oracle and wondering if I would ever fight there, much less headline there".

Tonight's fight is at 7:30 p.m.
