Are you ready for Mac n' Cheetos?
LOS ANGELES, CA (FOX 11) - Burger King has been on a food frenzy trying out all new kinds of menu items. Are you ready for the latest?
Mac n' Cheetos combines two food favorites and looks like a giant Cheetos puff stuffed with Macaroni and Cheese. They are deep-fried sticks encrusted in Cheetos-flavored breading, which is part of the trend in brand mashups, blending fast food with well-known snack brands. You’ve seen this trend with 7-Eleven’s Doritos-cheese stick hybrid, or the Taco Bell Doritos Locos Taco. The bonus is the signature orange Cheetos dust.
The menu item of 5 bites has 310 calories and will sell for $2.49.
One YouTuber “Peep THIS Out!” already had a chance to try them out and posted his reaction on his channel. He says, “Mmmm. Absolutely. Very heavy cheesy hit on this with some Cheetos goodness in the background….digging this already.”
Currently Mac n' Cheetos is only being tested for about eight weeks in a few select Burger King Restaurants in Southern California for now.
