The Oakland A's held their 19th annual Root Beer Float Day Sunday at the Coliseum.

A's manager Bob Melvin, current players, A's alumni and numerous local celebrities, including on-air KTVU talent, served root beer floats to fans ahead of the A's hosting the Indians.

Admission to the event that ran from 10:30 a.m. to the end of the second inning was free. Root beer floats were sold for $5 and a 32-ounce mug option was available for $20.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Oakland A's community fund, "which takes an innovative and dynamic approach to support education, promote youth sports, and provide economic opportunity in order to help make Oakland and the East Bay a more equitable and inclusive community."
