Ashby BART Station reopens after fatality
BERKELEY, Calif. (BCN) -- The Ashby BART station in Berkeley has reopened about two hours after a fatality was reported at the station on Monday.
Reports of a person under a train there came in at 12:24 p.m., BART officials said. That person died on the tracks and the Alameda County coroner's bureau was called there.
The station reopened at about 2:45 p.m., according to BART.
BART police are investigating the incident.
