Baby ducks rescued from storm drain in Fremont
FREMONT, Calif. - Over a dozen baby ducks were rescued Saturday afternoon from a storm drain by Fremont firefighters. The ducklings have seen been returned to Mama Duck.
According to officials, there were 15 ducklings rescued.
Firefighters from Engine 54 found the ducklings around 4:30 p.m. after community members made them aware, officials said.
The baby ducks were found near Mission San Jose.
