Mountain View shopping getting new stores, movie theater next year
Brookfield Properties will manage 90,0000 sq. ft. of retail space, opening seven new stores.
OAKLAND, Calif. - Shoppers scrambling for last-minute Christmas gifts will find many retailers will be open on Christmas Eve, though stores will be widely operating on a truncated holiday schedule.
On Christmas Day, most of the retailers KTVU reached out to will be closed.
As for grocery stores, some chains plan to open select locations on Christmas, though they'll close early for the holiday. KTVU has compiled a comprehensive list of Bay Area businesses and their holiday operating plans.

Stores will be open on Christmas Eve and Day, although some stores may have reduced hours. The company recommended customers first call or check online for hours of their local store before visiting.
Christmas Eve: Stores and the chain's 24-hours pharmacies will operate their regular hours.
Christmas Day: Stores will operate their regular hours, while a majority of pharmacies will be closed, except for 24-hour locations and other select pharmacies, the company said.
The company advised customers to check Walgreens' store locator to determine the pharmacy hours of their local store.
