Caltrans has live video of the bridge lowering.
SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) -- Caltrans has a live video feed as workers attempt to lower the Bay Bridge onto barges.
The old Bay Bridge is being dismantled because of the opening of the new bridge several years ago. The old bridge sections are being dropped onto a ferry, which will then transport the barges away for dismantling.
