Body of missing 13-year-old boy found in Russian River, authorities say
Sonoma County sheriff's deputies are searching for 13-year-old Diego Rivas who was last seen swimming in a river Wednesday night.
RIO NIDO, Calif. (KTVU) - The body of a 13-year-old boy who had gone missing after swimming in a Sonoma County river has been found.
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said Diego Rivas' body was found Thursday afternoon submerged in the Russian River.
Diego Rivas was last seen swimming around 10:30 p.m. in the area of Canyon 1 Road in Rio Nido.
