NEWARK, Calif. - An argument over a missing cell phone led to a brawl at a Newark pizza place and caused some customers to rethink ever visiting there again.
The fight broke out Saturday night at John's Incredible Pizza Company at the NewPark Mall. Video captured some of the customers throwing punches and yelling at each other as staff members tried to separate different groups that were fighting. Representatives from John's Pizza declined comment.
Nicole Davis recorded the fight and said how upset she was because she was there with her children. "It was absolutely crazy," she said.
The large crowd size prompted Newark police to ask the Fremont Police Department for assistance in breaking up the fight. Dozens were questioned but no one was arrested, according to Newark Police Lt. Jolie Macias.
A manager later found the missing cell phone while police were at the restaurant.
Davis said she's visit another John's pizza parlor, but not the one in Newark.
