SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - Cal Fire firefighter Jesus Gomez had a shift he'll never forget.
Last month, Gomez and engine 1776 from Cal Fire Corralitos responded to a medical call.
The engine arrived before the ambulance got there, and found a pregnant woman ready to give birth.
Firefighter Jesus Gomez helped deliver the baby boy.
This week, the family came by to thank the crew and specifically Gomez for helping with the healthy delivery.
