Caltrain fatally strikes person in tunnel between 22nd street and Bayshore stations

SAN FRANCISCO - A person was struck and killed by a southbound train in a tunnel between San Francisco's 22nd Street and Bayshore stations, Caltrain said Friday night.   

Train 516 was carrying about 96 passengers and no injuries were reported aboard, Caltrain said in a statement.   

The fatality, the seventh this year, was reported about 7:30 p.m.
