Car crashes into Pleasant Hill home, causing gas leak

PLEASANT HILL, Calif. - A car crashed into a home in Pleasant Hill on Friday night prompting a gas leak and evacuations.

Police posted photos of what happened on social media.

They say a car crashed into a home near Susan Lane and Doris Drive, resulting in a significant gas leak.

Authorities say some residents were evacuated from their homes as a precaution.

But the gas has been turned off and the area has since reopened.
