A police chase in San Mateo shows a car crashed into a power pole and it landed straight up.
SAN MATEO, Calif. - San Mateo police are investigating the bizarre-looking end to a very short police chase.
A car lost control and crashed into this power pole, pointed nose up.
A police officer noticed a suspicious car near 17th and Leslie streets just before 4:30 a.m.
When the suspect hit the gas, their car crashed within moments.
Two people were inside, and one has already been arrested.
