Carrying cryptocurrency? An Oakland home is on the market, and the owner accepts bitcoin
OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - An Oakland homeowner is offering an unusual option to potential buyers of his two-bedroom home.
The owner of this house on Oliver Avenue is willing to accept bitcoin or other crypto currencies for the property.
The real estate agent handling the property says the response to the listing has been overwhelming.
He says he's even getting offers from people who don't know exactly where Oakland is located.
But he's not sure if the interest is because of the crypto-currency or because the demand for homes in the Bay Area is so high.
