Cliff rescue underway near Fort Funston in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco firefighters are working to rescue one person and a dog from a cliff near Fort Funston.

Firefighters are asking the public to avoid the area.

It's not yet known if the person in need of rescuing is injured.
