SONOMA COUNTY, Calif. (KTVU) - The U.S. Coast Guard came to the rescue of four people in Sonoma County.
The Bodega Bay Coast Guard station released video of the Friday rescue, which shows a man with three children. The four were stuck near Campbell Cove due to strong winds in the area at the time.
The man told rescuers he was unable to paddle safely.
Rescuers used a rope to pull everyone to safety.
The Coast Guard would like to remind the public that weather conditions can change quickly, and to research weather conditions prior to heading out.
