Crews Fire burns 5,513 acres, now fully contained

GILROY, Calif. - Firefighters on Monday contained the Crews Fire, which started 
outside of Gilroy in rural Santa Clara County and burned 5,513 acres, Cal Fire officials said. 

The blaze was first reported at about 2 p.m. July 5 along Crews 
Road near Oak Spring Circle. It destroyed one structure. 

The cause is under investigation, according to Cal Fire.
