Danville man posts $1M bail after arrest for wife's slaying
DANVILLE (KTVU) - A Contra Costa man posted bail Monday and was released from jail after he was taken into custody in connection with the weekend slaying of his wife at the couple's home in Blackhawk, authorities said.
John Tercheria, 69, posted $1 million bail Monday, the Contra Costa sheriff’s office said. He had been booked early Monday into the Martinez jail after being charged with murder.
Authorities said his wife, Linda Marie Tercheria, was found dead Sunday at their home on Quail Run Lane. Her body was found around 4 p.m. but it was not immediately clear who made the discovery.
Police have not released many details about the case.
