Deadly crash on Highway 4 in Pittsburg

PITTSBURG, Calif. - A person died early Friday on Highway 4 in Pittsburg, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported about 5 a.m. on eastbound Highway 4 near Railroad Avenue.

No other details were immediately reported. 

On Thursday night, a five-car crash on Highway 84 near the Dumbarton Bridge blocked lanes from 9 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., but the CHP did not detail the extent of anyone's injuries.
