SUNRIVER, Ore. (FOX 13) - A deer found itself on a slippery slope.
Oregon firefighters were called out to Woodlands Golf Course in Sunriver on Friday morning to save a deer stuck on what appears to be a frozen lake.
Firefighters shared video of the rescue showing the frightened animal trying to run, but it continued falling down since it couldn’t stand on the cold surface. One of the firefighters is seen approaching it with a red ice rescue sled.
When the deer was finally pushed to the edge of the lake, it struggled at first, but finally walked onto dry land and left.
