ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif. - Delays are expected for westbound Interstate Highway 580 early Thursday morning just east of Greenville Road after a multiple-vehicle collision between a big-rig and pick-up truck blocked the three left lanes of the freeway, the California Highway Patrol said.
The CHP said the vehicles were stuck together in the collision just after 5:45 a.m. A Sig-alert was issued at 6 a.m., but the incident was cleared just after 6:20 a.m.
Intermittent delays are expected through one of the heaviest-traveled traffic corridors in the Bay Area.
No further information was immediately available.
