Attorney for billionaire families describes alleged fraud by Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes
Daniel Mosley, a high-profile attorney with billionaire clients, helped arrange hundreds of millions of dollars in investment capital to Theranos. He said the company's former CEO Elizabeth Holmes made false claims about what her blood analyzers could do.
SAN JOSE - Another former investor in Theranos was on the witness stand Thursday in the federal fraud case against the company’s former CEO Elizabeth Holmes.
Chris Lucas, chairman of venture capital firm Black Diamond Ventures, invested more than $6 million in Theranos. His uncle, Don Lucas, was chairman of the Theranos board of directors and introduced his nephew to Holmes.
