The Golden State Warriors eliminate the Houston Rockets in game 6 as they play on the road.

It was a nail-biter with the lead going back and forth.

The score was often tied during this game.

At a watch party at Alameda Theater, fans were on the edge of their seats until the final buzzer.

They say victory is all the more sweeter when it's a hard fought game.

"I was nervous, nervous the whole time," said Mitzi Richardson of Alameda.

"I was concerned about Curry and his injury. But seeing him play out there and he was hurt again, The man just has so much grit," said Delorisa Smith of Alameda.

"We're going to take it all the way... repeat again," said Roy Holmes of Oakland.

Alameda Theater takes pride in hosting Warriors playoff games since 2015.

"It's been a community. It's all friends and family. It's easy," said Bret Webb of Alameda who brought his 10-year-old daughter.

It's easy with meals served to fans in their seats.

Game 6 against the Rockets without Warriors star Kevin Durant gives fans food for thought.

"We're not walking around like we're confident anymore, like we're the best. It's going to be an uphill battle," said Kirby Ung of Oakland.

"You can never say not having Durant is gonna be better, but we still have enough weapons," said Russell Cowenhoven of Alameda.

Weapons such as Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

"Obviously they have the talent. They just need to focus and get it done," said Karen Swan of Oakland.

Fans say they're confident the Warriors have what it takes to ultimately make it to the finals.

"What makes this team stand out against others is that they're really a team. They share the ball. They're respectful of each other. They support each other. There's no ball hogger," said Sara Osaba of Oakland.

The Warriors won't know which team they'll plan in the Western Conference Finals until Sunday.

That's when the Portland Trailblazers play the Denver Nuggets in Game 7.
