Fatal crash near Golden Gate park Christmas Day
Fatal crash in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO - A driver crashed into a tree on Wednesday afternoon, causing the car to be engulfed and resulting in their death.
The San Francisco Fire Department said the crash happened in the southbound direction of the bridge near 19th Avenue and Crossover.

The crash happened shortly before 4 p.m. The driver died at the scene.
Southbound on 19th Avenue between Park Presidio and Crossover is closed to all traffic at this time, officials said.
