Crews battle fire in San Leandro

Firefighters battle 2-alarm fire at the Georgia Pacific building in San Leandro. No reports of injuries.

Firefighters on Monday were able to put out a two-alarm structure fire at the Georgia-Pacific Corporation in San Leandro, fire officials said.

The fire broke out Sunday night at 11:14 p.m. at 2800 Alvarado Street.

The company said there were no injuries and the facility expects to be running later Monday morning. 

The smell of the fire reached into Oakland.
