Firefighters put out a fire in an Antioch home that's serving at least in part as a marijuana grow house, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District officials said.

Fire crews had to force themselves into every window and door of the home in order to get in. Contra Costa Fire says this is common to marijuana grow house operations.

Crews found numerous marijuana plants, but it is not clear how much.

As of 2:05 p.m. a fire was burning in a home in the 2000 block of Bugle Way.

The fire is under control.
