Firefighters, PG&E crews secure ruptured gas line in San Jose
SAN JOSE, Calif. - San Jose fire crews and PG&E crews secured a ruptured gas line on Monday afternoon that prompted a shelter-in-place for adjacent homes.
Firefighters were called shortly after 2 p.m. to a home in the 1300 block of Davis Street after a construction crew hit a gas line, fire officials said.
Two neighboring homes were under a shelter order, but only one was occupied at the time.
The shelter order for that home was lifted about 3:15 p.m., after the gas line was secured, fire officials said.
No injuries were reported.
