Firefighters working brush fire near Hwy 237 in Mountain View

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (BCN) - Firefighters have responded to a brush fire in Mountain View this afternoon, according to Sunnyvale public safety officials.

The fire was reported near state Highway 237 and Middlefield Road.

At 3:24 p.m., Sunnyvale public safety officials said residents might see smoke or falling ash on the west side of the city near the border with Mountain View.
