Fremont company repairs equipment, rehabilitates lives

FREMONT, Calif. - In Fremont, one company, is using the 48th annual Earth Day celebration and environmental movement to do more than just recycle and reuse. 

Founded in 2006, the focus of Surplus Services is to repair, refurbish, and the reuse of electronics, and medical and IT equipment.
 
What makes Surplus so special is that it’s also a place where people who’ve made mistakes in the past can rehabilitate their lives, said owner Lou Ramondetta.
