Gas line rupture forces evacuation of Laguna Honda

SAN FRANCISCO - A San Francisco skilled nursing and rehab center was evacuated Monday after a gas line ruptured.

The San Francisco Fire Department said on the social media platform X that employees at Laguna Honda were being evacuated as of 11:13 a.m. after a contractor struck a 3-inch gas line.

Fire officials said Pacific Gas and Electric crews were at the scene repairing the gas pipe.
