Grass fire reported in Discovery Bay

DISCOVERY BAY, Calif. - Cal Fire is assisting East Contra Costa County Fire Protection District with a 15-acre grass fire in Discovery Bay area. 

The so-called Headwater Fire broke out Wednesday evening off of Yellowstone Way. Cal Fire SCU tweeted about the fire just before 7 p.m.

A viewer tweeted out a photo of smoke billowing into the air.
