Hero 8-year-old alerts neighbors to mobile home fire

HALL COUNTY, Ga. - An 8-year-old Hall County boy is being hailed as a hero for alerting neighbors to a fire inside a mobile home.

Hall County Fire Services told FOX 5 that Logan Carter saw smoke coming from a nearby mobile home Saturday afternoon.

When he looked closer, he saw the outside of the home was on fire.

Logan ran to get his father, who used a water hose to control the fire until the fire department got there to take over.

A man inside the mobile home, who was sleeping at the time was able to get out safely thanks to Logan's quick thinking.
