Horn Barbecue opening new location in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, Calif. - A popular barbecue restaurant in Oakland is expanding.

Horn Barbecue announced on social media that it is opening a new location in Lafayette on Wednesday.

"This is not just the launch of a new location—it is the realization of a dream built on passion, perseverance, and a deep commitment to serving our community," the Instagram post read.

The doors of the new location open at noon.

The new location comes over a year after a fire destroyed the restaurant's Oakland location, forcing it to close for more than six months.

"Since 2015, our mission at Horn Barbecue has been clear: to master the craft of barbecue and bring people together over unforgettable meals. That mission has remained steadfast, and each day, our team works tirelessly to bring that vision to life—not just serving food, but crafting experiences that create connections and bring joy to the table," the eatery said on social media.
